This page explains how fullstackchris.dev uses cookies and similar technologies. The short version: the Website is designed to be as cookie-light as possible. There is no advertising pixel, no cross-site tracking, and analytics are cookieless.
What is a cookie
A cookie is a small text file that a website can store in your browser to remember information between visits — for example, a session, a language preference, or a tracking identifier. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixels.
What this Website uses
- Strictly necessary technical storage — used only if needed for the page to work (for example, remembering a chosen language via local storage). No personal identifiers are stored.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics — a privacy-friendly analytics service that does not set cookies and does not use personal identifiers. It collects aggregated, anonymous data such as page views and referrers.
Third-party embeds and services
When you interact with embedded services or leave the Website for an external service, the corresponding third party may set cookies on its own domain. These are governed by the third party's own privacy and cookie policies:
- beehiiv — newsletter delivery and subscriber management, called server-side by the Website.
- Stripe — payment links and checkout for paid services.
- Calendly — scheduling embed when used for booking calls.
- YouTube, Tally, or Formspree — only if explicitly embedded on a page. They are not used by default.
These cookies are set by the third party, not by this Website, and they only apply within those services. Submitting a form or starting a checkout is treated as a deliberate interaction.
Consent
Because the Website does not currently use non-essential tracking cookies or advertising pixels, no cookie banner is displayed. If non-essential trackers are added in the future (for example, a marketing pixel or auto-loaded video player), a consent mechanism will be implemented at that time, in line with EU ePrivacy and GDPR requirements.
Managing cookies in your browser
You can manage or delete cookies in your browser settings. Most browsers let you block all cookies, allow only first-party cookies, or clear stored data per site:
Updates to this policy
This policy may change when new services or trackers are added. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision.
